Be a Desk Rejects Guest

Desk Rejects is a community and conversation series for researchers, thinkers, practitioners, and curious humans sharing work that exists beyond publication. Many valuable ideas never make it into journals to count as “real knowledge”. Some are rejected. Some are abandoned. Some are still evolving. Some simply don't fit traditional academic spaces.

Desk Rejects exists to create conversations around unfinished thinking, emerging research, unexpected findings, and the questions that keep us curious.

We're interested in process as much as outcomes, and learning as much as expertise.

Inviting grad students, independent researchers, practitioners, artists doing research-informed work, people with unfinished projects, people whose studies failed, and people exploring weird or niche questions.

To discuss unpublished research, rejected papers, works in progress, unexpected findings, research failures, ethics and complexity, identity and academia, what you're still figuring out.
