Sophia Consulting is a safe haven for women athletes, where you’ll be nurtured and supported as you pursue excellence.

You don’t have to feel alone on your journey.

Join my mission to do sport differently, to build genuine, deep-seated confidence, to compete free from fear, and to fall in love with the game again

I believe athletes can be well and excel at the same time, even if sport culture doesn’t always make it easy.

We understand

Why you have to say “no” because you have training in the morning

The knots in your stomach nausea on race day

The frustration when you make error after error

The pushing so hard to prove yourself, only to downward spiral

and wonder, “why am I even here?

No more.

Kirsten Van Marion, Fencing, International

Ultimate Courage helped me drop emotional burdens I didn’t even realize I was carrying. I’ve learned to process feelings in real time, embrace who I am, and finally let go of the things I can’t control.

I’m fencing better than ever—more relaxed, sharper, and genuinely enjoying the sport again. For the first time, I’m not using training to escape stress—I’m actually managing it, and that’s changed everything. I’m setting boundaries, advocating for my needs, and showing up as my most confident, authentic self in sport and in life. This season, I scored my first international fencing points and jumped over 270 spots in the world rankings.

Self-compassion was the missing piece in my game, and Ultimate Courage gave me the tools to find it. I’m healthier, happier, and more at peace than I’ve ever been.

The Sophia Consulting Manifesto.

Girls and women - they deserve tailored resources and support from other women who understand what it means to be a competitive athlete.

Belonging - traditional sport culture, being all about competition, is not conducive to connection.  With us, you can be a high-achiever, wanting what is best for you and your performance, and feel a sense of belonging.

Excellence - doing well in your sport no longer has to be separate from you taking care of you. We say no to neglecting your needs as a human. We know true excellence in sport will come when you are putting the human first.

Being Bold - have the audacity to believe in yourself. Show up unapologetically in your sport. Take up space. Let your freak flag fly. Do the “weird” thing. Be sure of yourself so you can stop trying to prove your worth to others. (rock on emoji)
